OUR STORY

Growing up, Krista Lynn found inspiration and creativity in singer/songwriter Gwen Stefani. The classy fashionista inspired Krista in junior high to teach herself how to sew, which led Krista to make her own clothes and ultimately pursue a career in the garment industry.

In 2008, Krista graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle with a degree in Fashion Design. Before graduation Krista got the internship of a lifetime working for a boutique in Seattle where she attended fashion shows, traveled, designed, did fashion illustrations, and further learned the industry. 

After several years of working in the fashion industry, Krista decided to pursue her other passion, raising a family. The long hours and demanding travel required in the fashion industry was not conducive to the family lifestyle she wanted. Krista married Troy, became a proud stepmother to Caleb and Eli, and settled down just south of Seattle in Gig Harbor, WA. 

In 2019, Krista and her husband welcomed son, Jaxson. After struggling to find cute, quality, well-made clothes for her little, the idea for Pink Alder Boutique was born. As a boy mom, Krista also discovered there were very few options for matching mommy-and-me outfits, so she decided to add some cute mommy-and-me matching outfits to the line as well! 

On May 3rd, 2021, Pink Alder Boutique officially opened its “online” doors and is now happily creating beautiful, custom designed, one-of-a-kind clothes for littles ages 0-24 months, with plans to expand the size ranges soon.
